Inspired by a parterre garden design
The garden is designed to have a central focal point that can be viewed all year round from the living area of the property. Leading from the patio are gravel paths to take you on a journey throughout the garden.
Scented and easy to maintain herbaceous plants where specified in the initial consultation. I used this as a guide for my planting plan and my client is able to spend time pottering and deadheading during the summer months.
Following the design work, I was onsite to oversee the design management of the construction phase and implementation of planting.

Contemporary family garden
A sloped garden always presents challenges. Levelled zones with a decked area leading from the kitchen uses composite boards offering a cool contemporary look.
The planting complements the clean lines of the hard landscaping and creates a modern look.

Rich colourful planting scheme
My client wasn’t looking for a complete redesign, more of a planting scheme that worked in harmony with their fantastic vista.
Working with a southwest facing garden, I wanted to apply a scheme that creates maximum interest when entertaining. The colourful planting encourages insects to do their vital work during the summer months.
