Designing and building gardens from concept to completion with a passion and dedication like no other

Design

3D visuals and 2D plans convey how the finished garden will look. This is the tangible visualisation of your garden and it is a discussion document which allows the design to change and evolve.

Planting

I produce detailed planting plans and specifications. This forms part of the detailed design package. Whether you know a little or a lot about plants I will work with you every step of the way.

Build

Each scheme will go out to two or three reputable landscape contractors, with whom I have worked with previously. They receive a full drawing package; bills of quantities and specifications. Following a site visit they provide a quotation.

When we first approached Sarah about redesigning our garden we thought that its small size (traditional large Victorian house, very small back garden) would limit us from having any significant changes.  Instead with Sarah’s incredible vision and creativity, our garden is completely transformed and we never tire of hearing our friends and family  say “This can’t be the same space – it’s twice the size of your previous garden!”

We loved Sarah’s whole approach to the design process, encouraging us to consider the things that give us pleasure while providing solutions to things we hadn’t even considered we needed!  We also really appreciated her flexibility and patience – tweaking her design plans when we bought a larger than expected garden sofa!

During the landscaping, Sarah was always on hand to oversee the build and ensure that all aspects, large and small, were done to our complete satisfaction.   Now we are onto the exciting stage of planting and Sarah has created a beautiful and practical plan (for people who don’t have much time to garden!) that I can’t wait to see in bloom next year.

Sarah was quick to respond to my request for help to design my dream garden. The plot was a completely blank canvas. We had an initial consultation where she took on board all my requests including the colour scheme and the type of plants I wanted included. A site survey followed where she took care to check the aspect to make sure of the planting success.

A plan followed this, together with a planting plan. Once a landscaper had been secured the garden began to take shape. Sarah was very supportive with several visits during this process.

When the landscaping was finished Sarah came and did all the planting according to her plan. The garden has flourished and is a very special place. Her support did not end after the planting and I have always felt I could ask for further advice over time.

I cannot recommend her more highly.
